Throughout my years as a printer, the idea of pairing letterpress plates with clay had always lived in the back of my mind. What would the impression look like in something other than paper? This inspired me to try another project in the fall of 2022, this time collaborating with a ceramics studio in Easton, PA. I created a series of small ornaments: two ferns, a leaflet and a modern sprig. More clay creations to come when time allows...
