The Art of Paper Casting
Here at the studio, every scrap of paper holds value. For years I’ve saved scraps and offcuts, knowing that this beautiful cotton stock deserved a second life. What began as a fun experiment has grown into a passion project: transforming the remnants into paper reliefs using traditional wooden molds. The process is long but therapeutic, turning shredded paper into pulp, pressing it into carved molds and carefully lifting away the delicate impression.
This side project continues, whenever extra scrap is piling up or I find a new antique mold with interesting details. Stay tuned...
